Alex, Jack: this is a fabulous invention, finding a way to use new technologies to improve ergonomic design of a traditional art form, enabling players with physical limitations to continue playing!

As a former shamisen player (basic at best), I was hoping to see it in action. Thanks for the invention, and the inspiring performance!

Dudes, this is something I’ve been dreaming about for a long time – A modern bachi that is made from renewable materials AND is actually enjoyable to use!

As a semi-professional shamisen player, I am beyond excited to see this ‘fantasy’ turning to reality. My deepest appreciation for the efforts you all are taking to make this amazing instrument more environmentally friendlier.

    Bachi on!!

I love this idea! It is a brilliant and well thought out idea, that many players will be happy to use, because of any limitations they have. It is wonderful to see people who physically struggle be able to continue their passions, despite any dilemmas they may have.
